About Linda
I’m Linda Jostler, and I specialize in planning and bringing your dream Italian wedding to life. My goal is to create an unforgettable experience that you and your guests will treasure and talk about for years to come.
Who are you, Linda?
Coordinator, event designer, project manager, the spider-in-the-web, organizer – the titles vary over time. Regardless, my focus remains the same, I make dreams come true, so that’s what I work with.
I’m originally from Halmstad in Sweden, but after falling in love with the Tuscan landscape, I’ve been living here since 2005.
For more than 10 years, I have been planning weddings in Tuscany and the surrounding areas, as well as birthday parties, vow renewals, and corporate events. During this time, there have been many romantic and magical weddings as well as memorable and fun events along the way.
What interests you and makes you grow?
Every couple is different, and that’s what makes my job so fun. Each wedding becomes its own little adventure with new wishes and ideas that pop up along the way. This keeps me on my toes and ensures that I’m always learning something new.
Decoration is something I’m really passionate about. Since every couple has different tastes and styles, I get the chance to try new things and be creative in different ways. It’s so exciting to work with different venues and locations and see how each wedding gets its very own feel.
One of the best parts of my job is getting to know the couples and hearing about their dreams for the big day. It helps me create something that really feels like “theirs” and that guests will remember for a long time.
But the best of all is probably the wedding day itself. After all the planning, the day finally comes when everything is going to happen for real. The pulse rises, it’s a bit nervous and exciting at the same time – and when all the pieces fall into place, it feels like the best reward you can get.
What do you do when you’re not working?
When I’m not planning weddings, I try to spend as much time as possible with my family – my Italian husband Matteo, our two children Emil Dante and Ella Amelia, and our dog Lexie. We live in a rustic little house in Tuscany, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, and this is where I recharge between all the weddings.
We love being out in nature and spend a lot of time with our friends. In spring, we pick asparagus, and in autumn, we harvest olives from the trees in our own garden to make olive oil. Matteo and I share a passion for Italian cuisine and good wines, so there’s often a focus on food and drink when we have time together.
One of the absolute highlights of the year is our ski holiday in the Dolomites – the whole family loves skiing and we always look forward to that week.
Really, it’s about enjoying the good things in life as much as we can, taking care of each other, and being grateful for what we have. It was actually here in Tuscany that it all started over 15 years ago, when I organized my first wedding. At that time, wedding coordination was something completely new, and I was unsure if people would really want to come to Italy to get married. But the interest turned out to be enormous, and since then I have had the honor of arranging weddings for couples from all over the world – the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Australia, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and many more countries.
